What do I mean when I say Janitor/What does the janitor represent?
The janitorial occupation is more or less a mindset than a position. I tend to easily throw this label on those who know best for themselves, yet & still seek nothing better. It’s when going to a 9–5 has become your life story, and no efforts are put in place outside that time frame. I will not partner up under those circumstances.
All optimism shot down the same well you tossed your dreams at.
Great ideas come and go, still, they’re held with no value. About as valuable as a weekly check, or not? The janitor represents a minuscule picture, maybe smaller—the inability to adjust your lens to focus on one thing and capture it.
I do not speak of the janitor that creates more hours in a day. The one(s) that leave work with a plan to conquer the world even off the clock because there is NO off time. You know that it starts with YOU to make a difference, and it rarely will ever happen on anyone else’s time — at someone else’s establishment. You’re helping them accomplish their goals!
